GCSE: Our teachers all have high grade 9s in math GCSE Edexcel. In the topic of math, we first test the student, with this test comprising of multiple topics, we can identify weak areas of the student which we then personalise lessons to make them more targeted.

11 plus: Our teachers come from prestigious schools such as QE and Wilson's Grammar so we have a very deep understanding of what is actually asked in the tests. We provide more targeted math practice to young ones through provision of not only lessons but several materials and booklets, even mimicking QE and Wilson's style as well as several other grammar schools depending on where YOU want to go.

GCSE: Having recently sat the exams, we have a clear understanding of the syllabus, depending on what grade YOU are aiming for, we can coordinate lessons and help maximise mark gain through thorough teaching of the mark scheme and techniques to secure the most marks. For literature, we are more specialised in the books, An Inspector Calls, Jekyll and Hyde and the play Romeo and Juliet, however we can provide effective analysis techniques to help you understand whatever books and plays you are doing.

11 plus: 11+ english consists of creative writing and comprehension mainly. Comprehension techniques are taught such as how to easily spot words relating to the question to answer it easier. Also for creative writing, specialist techniques such as acronyms for language but also STRUCTURE of writing is taught which also counts for many marks and is often not taught well at other centres. Structure consists of variation in writing style to create meaning.

In Geography, Human and Physical geography can be easily taught, with diagrams and notes to help understand physical ideas and a more easier to understand explanation of theories in the Human chapter such as the demographic transition model. For fieldwork, we can help organising data collected from fieldwork trip and teach you what is expected in the markscheme. We will teach the proper structure of 9 and 6 markers to guarantee full marks.

Sciences consist of Biology, Physics and Chemistry with detailed notes provided for each one. For Biology specifically, the mark scheme in GCSE is VERY specific so we will teach you how to maximise marks here to match what the mark scheme expects from you. For chemistry, explanations to harder topics such as equilibrium or wherever you struggle will be helped and taught. For Physics, a more deep understanding of what theories actually mean as well as how formulas relate to their respective theories. This allows you to use the formulas more efficiently in the test and guarantee full marks on that 5 marker calculation question.

For economics, we teach you concepts and how they works. However, we also teach the specific criteria needed and structure to receive full marks on all your 6 markers. We can provide detailed understanding on how to analyse and evaluate any sort of question.

For French, we teach you not just grammar, but specifically required "advanced techniques." This is required by the mark scheme and are specific techniques when used, can guarantee a mark above 70% at least. This as well as vocab lists can be given and efficient memory techniques can be taught to help memorise words especially.

DT especially is a mixture of topics learnt in chemistry, economics, geography and math but on a very basic level. However, to get maximum marks requires an understanding of how the mark scheme works, which for AQA specifically is often very confusing.
